Are you Missing something from your beauty routine?
Makeup is a beautiful process. A lot of the time there are lots of steps that you could be missing out on that would benefit you. Here are some of the most common steps missed that will bring your makeup 100% better.
1. Eyeshadow Primer
I know, I know this is like a given to most people. But if you're new to the makeup game and eyeshadow this tip will help you out! Applying a eyeshadow primer before you apply the shadow will make it much more vibrant and true to color. The primer will also help the shadow last longer and stay intact. If you're wanting to use bold colors, the only way they are gonna pop and show up is with the primer. Many makeup brands carry some type of eye primer. Ive also found, like many others, that your concealer will work just as fine or even better than the regular eye primer!
2. CLEANING YOUR BRUSHES!!
3.Eyeliner Tightening
This step I great if you don't wear much makeup. Tightening your eyes is applying eyeliner right under your eyeslashes on your upper lash line. This gives the effect of looking like you're not really wearing makeup. It also makes your lashes appear much thicker. This will tickle and bit, and may need some getting used to.
4. Setting Spray
Setting spray an essential in my routine, and if its not in yours, you may want to add it! Using a setting spray is essential for your makeup to stay in place. There are setting sprays for all skin types. My personal favorite is the cult classic Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. Its like a topcoat for your makeup!
5. Brightening Concealer
Using a concealer that is a bit lighter than your skin color has its benefits. This will help hide puffy eyes! You can also use it to highlight your face. In the picture above you'll see the areas that you should highlight. Trust me, you'll see a difference.
That's all for now beauties! Hope that these steps were helpful for you!
